SB 1073 - Property Tax; Exemptions; Disabled Veterans This bill, for property tax lien dates occurring on or after January 1, 2023, would additionally provide a partial exemption for property owned by, and that constitutes the principal place of residence of, a veteran who is partially disabled, as defined, or the veteran’s spouse or the veteran and the veteran’s spouse jointly. AB 107 - Licensure; Veterans and Military Spouses Expands to all Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) licensing boards the requirement that specified boards issue temporary licenses to the spouses of active-duty members of the United States (U.S.) Armed Forces, as specified. SB 607 - Business and Professions Requires a Board within the DCA to waive all fees for an initial license, in addition to the expedited licensure process in existing law, for an applicant who is married to, or in a domestic partnership or other legal union with an active duty member of the Armed Forces of the United States, and holds a current license in another state or territory. |
